Daddy-long-legs spider and Sarracenia minor

f5329071.jpg

Daddy-long-legs spider got stuck in Sarracenia minor. The spider is bare alive after it struggled to get out of the pitcher.

How could a daddy long legs get stuck in a sarr? Wouldn't it's legs fall in first?

Wild looking! Nice shot!

Haha, that´s funny. Not too long ago, a young lizard got stuck in my S. alata. I let it out because I thought it might rot the leaf.

Sweet shot!

nice!

Uh, Moo has a good point, how did that thing get in there ( I have to assume you did it, because it would be strange to me if it ended up like that on it's own)

Oh yea, just to let you know they aren't spiders... they are related though.

I see some brown spots on the pitcher, so I'd guess that it's fairly full of prey, no? Maybe if was going for something that was still alive near the top??
