Showing signs of life

My Sarracenias and VFT's began showing signs of life one week ago today (YAY!).

They are grown in Harrisburg, PA outdoors, and came out of hibernation in early March. We continued getting some very cold weather up here so I believe it stunted their growth a bit, but since on May 1st they started growing; these pictures are of about 1 week's growth on all plants.

The VFT's need to be trimmed, but I decided to take these pictures prior to doing so for comparative purposes.

May 8, 2009 photos (it's pretty easy to identify the new growth):
For smaller screens, if you scroll right a bit you can see each of the three sarracenia species identified on the white labels.

You can click each image for a full screen view.

Neat-o. I love spring. :p
