Cepahlotus pitcher age

Baylorguy

"Oh, now he's a philosophizer"
For you Ceph growers... what is the greatest length of time you had a pitcher before it bit the dust? I got my hummers giant back in March and 2 of the pitchers it came with are still going strong. It must be happy too, since the pitchers it came with were about half and inch tall and now it is regularly churning out 2+ inch pitchers!

I have had Cephalotus pitchers last upwards of twenty months or more, depending upon the specific plant, age, and location . . .

Yes, mine still has juvenile pitchers that were on the plant when I got over a year and a half ago.

Whoa. I never realized they are so hardy. Hopefully I have the same luck as both of you have had.
