Darlingtonia from seeds

Has anyone attempted to grow Darlingtonia from seeds in the 2 yr 24/7 lighting method? Appreciate any comments if you have.

Thanks....

I know of two growers who have attempted it with limited success over the years, probably since Darlingtonia is much slower to grow from seed and mature than the bulk of Sarracenia species -- 24/7 lighting techniques or not. Conventional three-year old seedlings currently offered for sale in California are scarcely 8 cm (3") across and flowering maturity can take a decade, about twice the age of most Sarracenia . . .

The 'Othello' seeds I tried with a heating pad died soon after shedding the seed coats.

However, one swallow does not a summer make. Try your own experiment and report back your results.

I'll post the outcome of this little experiment. Thanks for the input.
