Leaf Cutting Ceph help!

Hello all,

Well yesterday I acquire a fresh leaf cutting from Cephalotus Hummer's Giant which came potted.

After talking to him he said that the leaf cutting was done yesterday. However I forgot to ask an important question to him and now I don't know what to do. So my question is.

Do I need to put the cutting in high humidity? (e.g. put a plastic cup on top of it) or should I be okay without it. I also have it in a very small standing water. Is this safe? The water is just barely above the bottom of the pot maybe 3 cm above the most. All info is much appreciated.

Thanks all,

Jesse
