this is a Ceph Cz Giant . At least , the tag said it was . Got it 2 years ago. Probably from the same source as you saw. I got a Hummer's giant also but can't tell the difference . maybe the size?
I was told they are about the same size, but the Czech form gets more purplish under bright light. No offense, but yours looks like it's having some trouble.
@mm: my ceph looks pretty crispy as well. which led to a lot of paranoia, but---when actually touching the leaves, they feel alive and firm. so it's all good--just a result of lots of lighting.
mass morels : your right , i got some problems with aphids. never saw that before but it happened. same for Hummer's giant , it became a new cultivar. Ceph Var. all brown:-(

I'm not aware of any cultivar infomation out there, but here is small one I have sold under that name. Its finally starting to put up larger pitchers. There appears to be some differences between this clone and the Hummer's I have. Its too early for me too tell since I'm not getting adult pitchers yet.
