Photos from Splinter Hill Bog

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I've posted here. Well, long story short I am finishing my senior year of high school in Montgomery, Alabama playing football for my brother. Yesterday, I had the day off from track so I decided to make the 2 1/2 hour drive down to Perdido to check out the Splinter Hill Bog. I made sure to take a lot of photos to share with everyone so here they are!

Now that's a sight, Sarracenia and Drosera as far as the eye can see. Hats off to the TNC for their efforts and to all that participated in the 2008 auction.

OMG that's glorious!

I'm willing to bet that's what heaven looks like. :0o:

Totally Awesome!! Thank you for sharing those photos!!

Really cool. Bogs up here have the occasional cp, not a forest everywhere of flowers. Great pictures, thanks!

I posted the EXACT moment you did!

Awesome pictures. Glad to see places like that still exist. The purp x leuco hybrids look cool, I love the one in the last picture of the last post.

Nice sight. Good to see that there are still some few bog places around.
