I always enjoy looking at your pics and plants... thanks for sharing.

Beautiful plants!

Great pictures as always; thanks for sharing!

Ohhhhh, I see you've been busy growing beauties
What's the second one? :3

Thanks for the kinds words everyone,

The pics are of H. folliculata, H. sarraceniodes and the one oddball heli pic is a nutans "giant"

That moss is positively luscious! I wish I could get sphagnum growing like that.

...Oh yeah, the helis are nice too :) Gorgeous plants, thanks for sharing.

Looking good! Nice heliamphora. What utricularia is that in the last one?

Great plants as always. :)
Do you have a photo of your H. nutans (Yuruani Tepui)? Mine has just sucumbed to that annoying Heli condition where it goes limp and dies over night!! Grrr! It was still small with juvenile pitchers & now on the compost heap!

dang Av! cant wait till my sarra looks like yours! how tall is it?

  • #14
Bill.... my Yuruani nutan is tiny, I've not had it very long.... but Ill get ya pic in the next day or two. Just keep an eye on the thread.

I'm anxious to see this variant in it's full glory. Should make a beautiful specimen.

Amp, I would say the largest pitcher is 7 inches or so (conservative estimate). I find sarraceniodes to be a very robust grower, you won't have to wait long.

Maybe after a nice chilly winter with lots of sun I can get my helis to look like helis too, instead of a cat's scratching pole..
