Fred....:0o:
Very beautiful!
It's a forest of Sarr's, I love it. What a healthy bunch of plants you have!

I haven't had time to time individual shots of the flowers but it's been interesting. Given the flip-floppy weather that we've had, some plants started really early while others are only just coming up. In general, the bogs look like this:

What a great display! Love the work you put into those bogs, very clean looking.

Wow all your plants look so nice and green, my plants look a little green and a lot of brown like they are barely hanging in there. But anyways I think I might have a flowering flava:

Magnificent pictures Fred and Brokken. Really seems that Sarracenia thrive in the California sun.

S.leuco (green) x S.rubra jonesii (green) (26) - S.(flava x purpurea) x leucophylla (17) S. flava rugelli (9)...among others and they really held up well to a real HARD frost we had here a few days back!

When finally something opened. I'm too lazy to count all the buds...

S. leucophylla - this is supposed to be 'Hurricane Creek White' with the plant originally from John Hummer himself but the pitchers are narrow so it doesn't qualify. I'm wondering if there is some S. rubra ssp alabamensis in it, one of the S. rubra subspecies Hummer favors for his hybrids. Pitchers get around 20-24 inches tall.

Starting to get some flowers poking up, the usual early risers, catesbaei, moorei, a seed grown alata x flava OP that is only 3 yrs old. Got some yucky weather on the way though, windy with temps dropping a little below freezing, just the type of weather to kill flower buds. I don't really want to move them back in the garage. I may try to come up with a big tarp or some plastic or something.

4 alabamensis
2 purpurea ssp. venosa

S. rubra ssp alabamensis (S. rubra ssp wherryi??) (S. alabamensis ssp wherryi??). It was given to me as S. rubra ssp. alabamensis. From the color of the flowers and size of the pitcher it could be of the Chatom population
