Both of my Cephalotus clones seem to like making two big pitchers at a time, and then revert back to immature pitchers. Do yours do that? If they don't normally do that, then what could I be doing wrong with mine? I find it really frustrating.
quite normal...plant is adjusting itself. almost like the equivalent of puberty. plant can be considered truly mature once when it flowers...
otoh: something in in your environment is promoting then demoting your ceph's growth patterns...temps, humidity, light? check if these perimeters are consistent. if they are, then go with my first answer.
