awp, shouldn't you get some course sand on top of that media to tone the algae down a bit? That ick covers the seedlings and they're done for.

I try not to disturb them too much and
I actually quite like to have the algae around
as they do help to maintain the moisture level and resist fungal attack,
which worries me more!

My single baby has grown its first pitcher... Its growing on a window sill so probably not showing much color right now due to the lower light intensity.

Here is a recent update on the Cephalotus, now that they have been introduced into a multiplication media. For those unfamiliar with the process, that is when tissue culture actually begins (before that stage was simply aseptic germination); and the multiplication refers to the production of any number of plantlets through the use of various plant growth regulators. What are visible are the production of calluses -- undifferentiated tissue -- that will ultimately divide into untold numbers of nasty little plants, which will hopefully resemble its parent . . .
