Sarracenia Pollen Exchange

So they have pollen exchanges for neps, why can't we have a pollen exchange for our precious sarracenia? Everyone can just say what flowers they're getting and someone can offer some cool pollen, they split the seed. Oh and tell them how far along the flowers are. This thread can make some really cool hybrids, I think. Just an idea. We'll see how it goes.

Flowers in need of pollen...

S. Excellens "Phils Clone" ------ About a 6 inch stalk, maybe a week or two from opening.
S. Purpurea x Flava Ornata. --------------Just a little bud, no stalk visible yet.

-S. jonesii Greenville, SC
-S. purpurea Reedy Creek Bog, VA
-S. flava var. rugelii
-S. leuceophylla
-S. minor
-S. psittacina

This worked great last year as well incase anyone is curious about the viability of Sarracenia pollen when being transported. I was able to get a few seedlings from some Leah Wilkerson pollen I was sent.

Right now I have two S Oreophila (dark clones) flowering that will need pollen in a few weeks. Here's a pic of last years pitchers:

I need some pollen for any rubra pollen. I have a gulfensis that has a flower about to open up that needs some pollen. I also have a leucophylla i want to hybridize so any extera pollen i will take I can give:

S. alata 'night'-------------- About 2 weeks until the flower opens.
S. rubra subsp. gulfensis---------------- My guess is that the flower will open sometime this week
S. leucophylla -------------------- My guess is that this will open before the end of this week(This clone has always double flowered. it might pass on this trait to it's babies.)
S. alabamensis-------------------- Mabey 3 weeks until it blooms?
S. oreophilla-------------------- maybe 3-4 weeks until it blooms?
S. x doodle bug--------------- 3-4 weeks until the flower opens

Wire man? Can i please have some jonesii pollen?

I will add more as i get more flowers.

are some that should be producing pollen for me in three weeks. Others are later for me and will give a list of possible extras when spring arrives.
