That One Guy

Just thought of starting a new one specifically for my sarracenia since theyre probably the genus I'm most active in and enjoy the most.

Went to UC Davis Arboretum sale the other day, picked up some good stuff including a highly desired plant that I've been wanting for ever, Alata "Night".

Nice plants TOG!

How's the wind treating your collection? I have a few open pitchers and had to move them into the house it's been so bad today. I hear we're expecting another gusty day tomorrow.

It hasn't been to good for my hair but the sarrs seem to be doing fine, even the huge Alata pitchers. They're in the same condition they are when I got them, I was a bit worried but it looks like it turned out okay. More wind tomorrow? I think theyll handle it just fine, I *might* move the taller ones to a less windier place, but we'll see. How you feeling about it being 88*F this Wednesday? ;)

Great photos! Can you post a couple shots of your entire collection? I'm getting pretty excited for this season. A lot of new growth is showing promise. Can't wait for May!
