Cephalotus stolon

Jcal

Decumbent Fanatic
Thanks to jrjj88's video I decided to do a bit of dividing. I found something very interesting then I dug up one of my cephs. I knew I had a growth point pop up out of nowhere!

well that was easy then, ready made division ,nice

Ha you did say you thought they may have been ready

wowee nice growin, thanks for sharing .

Thanks all. They were ready indeed. I should have gotten a closer pic of the stolon. It was super hairy.
I'm a believer in big pots also. Maybe why this plant decided to send offshoots.

For a second I thought this said, "Cephalotus Stolen."

Whatever.

Anyhow, congratulations! I never was that interested in these plants but it looks like you've done nicely.

This is a well grown ceph :) well done

Thank you all for your kind words!
I hope I can recreate the results. If anyone knows of information about stolons please let me know!

Ummm. Cool. Not here to try to "one up" anyone. Not my style.

If you would like to share more about your photo I would love to hear it.

Is that from a stolon or from the roots finding light?
