Lot of photos this time around. Late summer/early fall really is the best time for most Sarrs. The traps are big, the colors phenomenal... the only things that could improve are if I had a slightly longer growing season, and maybe a little more humidity.... but oh well, it is what it is. On with the pics.....
S. alata "cuprea" Van Cleave MS. I call these two cupreas since older pitchers get a coppery blush on the lid
And a SG alata var. alata
'Judith Hindle'
'Daina's Delight' always looks great at this time, and there is one pitcher that towers above the others
You can see just the base of that pitcher in this shot
S. flava rugelii A x B with a friend
x readii Sunbelle Clone 3. I just wish I hadn't lost clone 2.....
x swaniana x 'Scarlet Belle' clone A
'Snake Bite'
flava atropurpurea
rubra alabamensis Meadowview
(leuco x flava) x leuco
purp burkii "Chipola" x typical
r. jonesii x purp burkii clone B
r. rubra x p. purpurea. I love the veins on this plant
'Leah Wilkerson' x 'Royal Ruby' clone B. Every pitcher has the shrunken lid and that cutthroat red color
'Royal Ruby' x 'Adrian Slack' clone D. The "Pink Blush" clone, this plant still has those vermillion colors, and bright white areoles are showing up at the lid edges
Larger but not as showy, clone E
various clone of RR x AS
and another
x catesbaei "Monster" x purpurea 'Red Ruffles' clone B
psittacina Van Cleave MS clone A
clone B, by comparison, is slower growing and has more muted colors
x swaniana x 'Scarlet Belle' clone B
r. jonesii x purp burkii. This is probably clone D
Another, heavily veined clone of RR x AS
An this is the smallest clone, with the skinniest pitchers I've ever seen
"Cherry Lips' clone, I love the deep blackberry veins
Same clone, new pitcher from the front
r. jonesii x purp burkii clone C
clone E
"Monster" x 'Red Ruffles' clone D. The red on this thing get dark as blood, and is highlighted by the deep slash area across the throat
clone E is the smallest, but the only one that comes close to D's color
(rubra x oreo) x purp burkii seems to have some issues adapting. This pitcher is much smaller, and far less colorful, than its original one.
alata rubrioperculata before coloring up
This rubra jonesii OP seedling looks a lot like its parent
flava rubricorpora Liberty Co. L x Best
[/url]
"Monster" x 'Red Ruffles' clone A
RR x AS clone A. I really hope next year this plant shows the colors I saw in the greenhouse
various alata 'Night' x "red" plants. Pitchers are far larger and more colorful now
The most heavily veined one
