sarracenia in flower arrangements?

I was just curious if anyone has ever tried to incorporate sarracenia pitchers in a cut flower arrangement, now i am not talking about cutting every pitcher off a single plant, but if there was a fallen one, if someone has cut one with this intention. If someone has done this, how longer before it started loosing color, and did you put anything special in the water? Thanks for looking at crazy question.

Its not a good thing. This is one of the reasons why many sarracenia natural population are dead. Because of the flowers industries. In Canada, adding sarracenia pitchers to flowers arrangement is prohibited.

huh, very interesting, i didn't know that, thanks maiden

It's also one of the major reasons S. leucophylla is so critically endangered currently.
