Hummer's Giant in vitro . . .

So far as I can tell -- for whatever reason -- "Hummer's Giant" had yet to be micro-propagated; and it was generally distributed, via division or leaf pullings. In 2011-12, I established two clones, one "vegetative" -- flat leaf -- in origin; the other, a section of flower stalk, from plants from my own collection; and my first ex vitro plants are now being established . . .

Cephalotus follicularis "Hummer's Giant" (donor plant)

Clone I: Summer 2013

Breathtaking. I plant truly worthy of tc. Excellent work. Tons of material to work with.
