Or 3rd. I don't really know how they number these weird leaves cephalotus sometimes makes.

One of my Cephalotus almost always has one or two of these at any given time. Kinda like it can't decide whether to be a leaf or a pitcher.
 
I got one from Charles Brewer at the NECPS Fall Plant Show this year that has like 4 of these on it right now
 
I think it wants you to feed it.
 
Oddly enough, that clone is from Charles also...

I think it may be or weather related though.

Yes - I've seen a wide range on my plants. Some that are almost all leaf (like a leaf with a depression in the middle) & some that are just the opposite (like a full pitcher with the lid being a leaf --- and many that are in between. Several years ago, I finally got my act together & created a collection of pics (in my growlist). One of them was more unusual than anything I'd seen before - reminded me of a little alien.

I have a Ceph from Charles that doesn't have a single leaf like that… Odd.
