Cephalotus Photos Summer 2014, Post up some Pics of your best so far!

Being Summer some of my windowsill Cephalotus are really kicking it into gear. This one is really close in pitcher size to the Big Boy right next to it, but it is a little larger and more colorful.

Cephalotus Location Emu Point - Largest Pitcher on the plant.

One of my biggest Cephs, and one of my favorite photos. Photo taken earlier this summer.

It's not as colorful as other clones, but I think green Cephs can look equally as attractive as colorful ones.

Hummers. The top pitcher is really close to hitting the 3 inch mark.

Can fav. "Squat" also my personal fav.

And who needs Eden black when you have big boy that gets just as dark! Jk

I think thats very normal. In normal sufficient light levels, new ceph pitcher buds start off darker and become more green as the pitcher bud inflates. I think its just a typical clone. Every ceph can respond differently given different conditions. A ceph I got as a green plant looks blood red (vein blood red) in good lighting. The only registered cultivar which is almost black is the infamous eden black variety.

Only seedlings, but for once I have plants actually growing and doing okay.

This Ceph has been through a lot which includes several treatment rounds for powdery mildew.

I know that it's fall, and that I'm late to this thread, but this was taken in the summer, I promise :).

This was a sickly "typical" clone that I had kept very dry in a sealed plastic cube for many years. Early last year, I freed it from its prison, repotted it in a new mix and started feeding one pitcher a month with diluted Neptune's Harvest fertilizer. It has now grown into this:

Here is what my Summer one has grown into, figure I might as well post up a "full" photo before it starts throwing up leaves. If you look you can see it has already started with the leaf-a-thon.
