Here's a couple pics of my Ceph 'Emu Point' that I got from RSS a few months back. Thanks Randall! Anyway two days ago I went out in the morning to find that I had forgotten to bring my Ceph in the previous evening. I've been keeping it in full sun almost since I got it, and wanted to do so for as long as possible before bringing it in. Temp got down to about 30F. It's in a pot about 4" tall, and was in a tray with about 1/2" of water. The tray was sitting on the ground. Anyways the water in the tray was not frozen at all, but the top 1" of substrate was frozen solid. I brought the plant in and let it thaw, expecting the worst. So far so good though, including a leaf pulling that is in the same pot. These are pics of the plant in its winter home taken 48 hours after the freeze. Light is a 9W 6500K led flood light I got off Amazon a while back. I can't remember how much I paid, but it wasn't much more than $10, if that much. Sorry for the crappy phone pics. Second pic is just to show how close the light is to the plant, approx. 1.5" away:
