Flower Watch 2015!

....aaaand they're off!
S. alata (UGA clone) This is a 20+ year old clonal colony. The pitchers are sexy after they mature, but until then they're a little weird and wavy this year. It may be that I need to refresh the media.

Hahaha my plants won't look like that until sometime in May or June.

Quite nice!

Woah, those are some early flowers! Looking great too, that's quite a colony you've got!

Is this the same clone I received from you, Kev?

They look great! Mine are still quite sleepy. :D

The very same. The plant is so ancient there is no living person who remembers any provenance for it.

The minute we pass the solstice, the Sarrs in the GH initiate flowering. A couple others are already hot on the alata's heels.
