Bagging cephalotus

Jcal

Decumbent Fanatic
I was never one to bag cephalotus after dividing. The have always grown well for me after all. I divided one of my plants and decided to bag a few and put a few out in the greenhouse.

The bagged one has shown rapid growth. The greenhouse plant not so much. Same clone, same soil, same everything except environment. Still not sure of the timeline on which way is faster. The bagged plants will have to be hardened off. The other could catchup but I doubt it.

I say bag it if you are wanting faster results.

Would seem that the softer conditions are going to be favorable when a plant has been shocked recently?

I know a greenhouse can be pretty harsh.
