Judith Hindle Help

  • Thread starter Kharris713

I purchased Judith Hindle plant in May of this year. It had three pitchers. It now has 10. Does it need to be repotted from its original container? When and what should I use. I live in Houston, TX, zone 9. I keep my plant in standing water, distilled or rainwater when I can collect it. It grows a new pitcher every 1-2 weeks.

Waiting to repot during the winter or early spring is generally a good idea. As for what to use, a mix of peat and perlite or sand is a good medium to use for sarracenia. For pots plastic or glazed ceramics work well.
