I saw the post and I was waiting for a response.
 
With only one pitcher to judge by, its hard to say. But there are MANY dark red/black hybrids that typically result from crosses using the atropurpurea forms of S. alata in combination with the dark red forms of S. flava, like S. flava rubricorpora. The plant in the photo may be simply a very dark form of S. alata.
Sarracenia 'Black Widow' (T. Wyman) is exactly one such hybrid:
