Hello, I must be going...

Well the first flower this season was on my Sarracenia rosea but I missed getting a picture of that.

So my second flower is from a S. flava

Growth is late this year, thanks to prolonged cold weather (and rainy too).

Let's see those flowers!

Yours are blooming already?! Mine are just putting out little nubs so far seeing as how i just pulled them out of the fridgy 3 weeks ago...

Don't have any photos right this instant, but my first flower was S. 'Abandoned Hope' about a month and a half ago...had about half a dozen open since then, within the past couple weeks.
I need warm weather, so that they may go outside and not languish in my basement!!!

Here's a few from down South here in Louisiana. Hope y'all thaw out soon up North! [emoji1] Lol.

I was going to start this same thread not too long ago. I believe this was my first to open, on the 24th.

That an antho-free alabamensis? They shouldn't have yellow flowers otherwise....

Ssp wherryi has yellow flowers according to Barry Rice. Not anthro free from this picture from 2014. I don't seem to have any photos of the pitchers handy.

Inconceivable

How many fridges do you have...?

Lol just one, they fit in the drawers at the bottom because I don't have that many Sarras, and I keep them in 6" pots whether they like it or not.

Well lucky you! I really dont have fridge space even of i wanted to, but certainly not for sarracenia. I went ahead and counted yesterday... 150 flower buds at this time.

Ok, it's at an awkward angle because I can't actually reach the plants ... but here's my S.flava ornata semi-dwarf! It's so cute and tiny! Now I know flavas have entirely chartreuse flowers - I'll try to get a better picture if I can later.

I hope you're planning on posting at least a photo of it as a whole if not individual flowers after a statement like that? :D ;)

Well... End of March we had excellent weather... Hasn't really looked like Spring since! Nothing's opened and still no pitchers...
