How dry?

elgecko

I've got a magic window!
I was at a lowes today that had alot of CP's that were completely dry. No green on the leaves at all. I could not see the rhizome to see what that looked like. I'm going to call them and talk to a manager about getting them dirt cheap, free, for at least the plastic pots. The way they looked I do not think they would come back. I rescued a pitcher plant, the bases of the leaves still had some green to them. These poor guys do not, and the soil is completely dry.

Do the rhizomes last any lenght of time when completely dry?

thanks.

As a rule, if the plant has withered, forget it.. Save your money. If there is some pitchers with turgid leaves, you may have a chance
