S. Flava splitting up growth

Hola friends!
One of my S. Flava which normally makes 2.5'-3' pitchers with 3" mouths has split it's growth point into 2 equal parts and are producing smaller pitchers, about 1' tall with 1" mouth. Only upside is that there is more growth than previous years. Is it normal for Sarracenia to split growth into 2 parts and turn younger again? The plant didn't even bloom this year

. And I was looking forward to another year with stinkly bright yellow flowers which attracts more flies!

Thank You!
Joe

Hi Joe,
Yews that is completely normal. The trick to growing big flavas is to split to a single crown with no side shoots..

I'll be sure to divide next dormancy. I need to repot anyway. It's been 2 years and a half since the last time i've repotted.

Thank You!
