The d word

my little Sarr L. has three little sticks 5 inches tall with no heads, bought 2 months ago as a descent size rhizome. Frig or no Frig this year.

Sorry but I can't seem to find info on this one as far as what it will look like when sleepy

joe

Most Sarracenia and hybrids will look the same when they go dormant. The leaves gradually dry up, turn brown, and die off. S. purpurea and psittacina, as well as many hybrids they may be in, will remain evergreen throughout winter. Just clip off anything dried-up and brown, leave anything thats green.

Alright, it certainly doesn't look any different, just small, should I wait a year for the first dormancy?

thanks
joe
