Making the switch

Has anyone had an experience transistioning sarracenia seedlings from metal halide lights to sun light? I have been growing them all winter in the house and now want to switch them outside. The issue is they seem to stall on their growth and of course burn a bit. I have been putting them in the shade for a bwhile and then into the sun but the growth is stopping on me. Any thoughts? brooks, I use a similar method. I keep my plants in the shade, and then when they are use to that, I simply move them to a less shady spot with a bit of sun, they take a bit to acclimate, but it does work with little trouble...
