Can s. minor and cobra lillies be crossed?

I was wondering if it would be possible to do a cross between them. They have a lot of similarities. They are both have downward pointing traps. They both have windows in the back to confuse nsects. They also have the red pigmentation around the windows also. From what i gather Sarracenia are distantly related to Darlingtonia however from a physical appearance alone S. Minor seems to be the closest relative and i was wondering if they could be crossed? If so would the offspring be fertile?

I tend to doubt it - but it is certainly worth the experiment.

I believe there has been one... it's called the cobra nest i believe?

Please correct me if I'm wrong... been tryint to get ahold of it for a while... Peter d amato carries it though, or used to

The cobra lily (Darlingtonia) and Sarracenia will not cross at all. You will get no seeds. Zero. Zilch.
