Hyllodiasarracenia leuco phyllodia? why

I just bought a huge s.leuco and it has mostly phyllodia on it and it keeps growing them . isnt it way to early for this? i will post a picture.

They usually send them up during summer, in my experience. Weaker pitchers in the spring, and stout pitchers in the fall.

And they'll grow nothing but phyllodia if unhappy. I can believe a move would be enough to cause it. But those'll do lots of photosynthesizing and the plant should be ready for its awesome fall pitchers.

Many plants will bloom in response to stress - it is a last-ditch effort to reproduce by an organism that thinks it may die.
