Me and one big (!) S. leucophylla (plant from the wild rescued), near Mobile.


Here's an interesting critter that I found in one of my S. cv. Judith Hindle's pitchers. No idea what species he is but sure is neat....and baby the camera loves him!

Hi kirk, I don't know if it is a variety or not. It was a rescued plant as a gift to me. This year it looks like it will b enormous.
 
I bet that spider is fat and happy because of all the bugs that sarras probly catches him.... thats cool I guess you could say the spider is commensal

(Nice pic of you too!) I get lots of spiders around my pitcher plants as well. Oportunistic little buggers. Have to be careful working around the plants. I've had some really baaad spider bites in the past. Its good to see the rescues in a good home.
