Prunning back Nepenthes

Hi there,

I have a very vigorous grower in the form of a N x "Marbled Dragon" (truncata x maxima) which has basically reached the top of its terrarium. While new accommodations are arranged for, I wanted to know if my marbled dragon will behave as my gracilis does and take kindly to pruning. Is anyone familiar with this cross and know if it's safe to prune it back to encourage basals to grow?

I can't answer your question, but rofl, it's like "HEY, LET ME OUT D:"

I am sure that it will activate a node and will be fine with a few cuttings.

i recently pruned mine back. Two cuttings were successfully rooted and the main stem grew three new growing points. This cross is very vigorous and it was safe for my plant

you could just grow it out of the terrarium. I have mine hanging in the window and it's doing ok.
