Cypripedium guttatum

This Cypripedium guttatum is one little fellow that I make no apology for posting photos of every year.
It may be small but it certainly has impact.

Amazing ! I'll hopefully be adding this species to my Cypripedium list this year. What are you using for media ?
 
This one I keep in peat / perlite just a general Sarracenia mix, it appears to like it wet.

Magnificent! Don't believe I've ever seen this particular species before. How do you winter it?
 
It's hardy, part of its natural range is Alaska.
