For my birthday, someone was kind enough to send two pings:
Pinguicula moranensis

and Pinguicula esseriana

Now I have a collection of four, inculding P. cyclosecta and P. koehres.

I planted them in the same all mineral substrate as my first two pings (70% turface 30% sand 0.05% Fe203) and gave them a light dusting of freeze - dried blood worms to get them situated in their new homes.

The CP nursery sent me two very small P. esseriana instead of one mature one. The two P. esseriana are the size as a black bean. Should I keep them a little more protected from eastern sunlight since they're so young?

Congrats! Did you do some leaf pulls on the P esseriana? Looks like a couple of leaves in that second pot.

wow those are awesome. Time to try some turface for me!
