Hunting At Home

So I woke up this morning and found my living room table crawling with ants. Why don't ants stop working on sundays ? Anyway, I thought it was the anthurium as it keeps blooming and they seem attracted to it. I guess everything was going real smooth until they met an alien species...

I know it's nonsense but have to admit I feel a bit bad for them.

What kind of nepenthes is that? More importantly, how hard is it to care for?

Looks like truncata or its hybrid. Getting ants in your plants (ha, I'm such dork but I had to) is always fun to see!

Just a small family of Truncatas and friends. They haven't been difficult to care for so far.

Never knew there were so many ants in the house, it's kind of amazing actually.

I CALL FOR A GREAT EXPERIMENT!
Put an ant trap next to your nepenthes and see which catches more ants. A true test of plant vs man.
