Red Leaves

My VFT as far as I can tell is just your standard run of the mill common VFT found in a super-market. I was lookin realy halthy all green except for a little red inside the traps. This week it has been getting alot of sun, about 80 degrees (uncommonly hot for alaska) with about 8-10 hours of direct outdoor sunlight. The last couple days the plant still looks healthy and soil still moist all of that, but the leafs are starting to turn a dull red. Is this good, does it normally happen?

bright light/sun causes redness. Its an ok sign.

A VFT with red traps is like a smiling child with rosey cheeks

I don't think he talking about the traps turning red. I think your plant has sun burn. I would take it to a spot with less light thats outside.
