whats a good way to place Drosera spatulata in to darmancy? for how long? and when?

The best way to do it is to not do it at all

D. spatulata is a sub-tropical and does not need any type of dormancy
 
Hmmm, I thought the D. 'Kansai' and some other variants go dormant in the winter?
