I agree with all of you, lol. Where do you get a N. 'Velvet" from? I have never seen one for sale.

it look like my Nepenthes X Gentle, maybe X Velvet is the real name for 'Gentle'

So, does anyone know the parentage of N. x 'velevet'?

Not that it really matters, would just be nice to know.

Griffin, I got it and it's twin at Lowes of all places, along with a bunch of others (see the "Fuzzy Neps" post below)
