What's a dts cd?

I wanted to know why DTS cds cost more than a normal cd. How much better are they and why?

Not sure what you mean by 'cd' but DTS is short of Digital Theatre Sound on a dvd.

CD is now a generic term and also covers DVDs.  It will matter where you shop and quality of the recording as to cost.  They should be close.

Great sound comes off of a reel to reel. Come on you old folk, you remember those. What a great system.

Thanks. I wanted to buy a CD, and the DTS version is almost 9 dollars more. I'll look into it.
