Found this Pine woods snake in my yard while raking pine straw. This was about the fourth one I've found in my yard.

He was very wiggly and didn't want to cooperate with me while I was taking pics. I did the best I could though.

Very cool. I l;ike how he is crawilng through your drosera :-))

I put him in my bog to take pics so that he is contained and still in a somewhat natural setting.

Awesome; a friend of mine kept one she found in her house for a while. Lovely snakes.

Aww he's a cutie nice color and cute face!

I always love walking in a forest and finding a snake and finding out what kind it is only ones I've seen so far is garter snakes, a ratsnake, and some other type of snake I never saw before also the ratsnake would always go in the area where we keep our wood whenever I spot it and try snap a photo it would go under the wood.

I always love looking at your reptile pictures and I really love snakes I own two corn snakes they're fun to hold though everytime I try and take pictures of them they manage to move their faces out of the picture. =\

The harmless ones are easy. You should try to get a pic like this without going to the hospital.

I have a lot of reptile pics. I'll send you an invite to my site where you can see most of them.

I really like this pic it's like he just crawled all over capensis but then decided to avoid the seedling haha.

Looks like a copper head right?

I used to live in Louisiana my brother walked to work and he said he saw a cotton mouth and the most dangerous reptile I've seen besides the zoo was a baby snaping turtle that wandered in my yard he was cute though wasn't happy with me taking him back to his home I wish I had a camera at that time since usually I just rescue red ear turtles from being stuck in chain fences or in the street.

My aunt thinks small snakes are cute but won't touch one! :jester: I think the one that one reminds me of is the brown snake or something like that. I can't find that national geographic animal guide thing anymore.
