Haha! Well their eyes is very unique to the snake world. They're the only ones with keyhole shaped pupils and has binocular vision :D

Gorgeous creature. What do you feed it?

Stunning snake! :-O

I imagine being able to see it in motion makes the coloration all the more brilliant. Or does she try to stay motionless when she catches you looking at her?

I breed a specific specie of skink and frog as feeders :)

That's got to be a bit of challenge, I would think, to maintain populations large enough to keep her fed.

I already had a good breeding population happening before i feed them hehe. I have 9 prolific breeding pairs of Golden skinks that can produce 3-4 broods of about 5-9 babies in less than a year and it only takes 6 months for them to become 7" long feeders. The rice field frogs i breed commercially for exotic restaurants can produce about 17 kgs of sub-adult frogs in less than 5 months.

My lizard and frog eaters only eat like 2-3 skinks/frogs per snake every 2 weeks plus occasionally some of my snakes freely feed on 3" wild mollies that are also readily available here for sale in small bulks.

I have so much excess that i can feed them to my owls, sailfin lizards and hedgehogs at any given time :D

That's just a defensive bluff. She normally calms down after a few minutes and loses the black & white. On normal days when its not eating, it just lies motionless :D

That is an incredibly gorgeous snake.

Thanks! :)
