Cricket trouble with poison dart frog

On saturday i bought a dendrobates luecomelas but commonly know as the bumblebee arrow frog. It is very small and he is in a five gallon tank with all the necessary equitment but i am planing to move it up to a ten gallon. For the medium i have from 2 to 1 inches of spnagnum moss. I am putting about 7 crickets in there a day but the crickets go in the spagnum moss. my problem is that i am worried about the frog not being able to get to the crickets and starve to death, so what should i do about my problem?

Generally dart frogs prefer frut flies or other small insects, unless the crickets are pinhead size... Also, If they are small enough, Put them in a ceramic glazed dish that they cannot get out of, and then the frog will get some cheap shots to get his or her food

A very easy way to feed smaller herps, especially the dart frogs is to:

get 1 deli cup with a cover (punch or melt little holes for air on sides or top

place a moist paper towel on the bottom

place the frog in

place a few pinhead crickets in (about 4 at a time)

let them sit and he'll eat

good luck-Zach
