I've done a lot of work with the ultra sonic foggers and they do 2 things;
1) they greatly raise humidity and......

Actually, R. crispata, R. pachyptera, and R. oblonga are almost identical except for flower. It is one of those 3, I said pachyptera because it is the most commonly found in general garden stores.

I would set the pot in an inch or so of water and leave it for 15-20 minutes then take it out and let it totally dry out before doing it again. They like to be drier than normal.

Like previously mentioned, the main enemy is rot. These in particular are very prone to rot considering their fuzzy, succulent body....
It can flower all the same as usual and the flowers ought to be normal. The cresting won't leave but occasionally the new shoots will revert. If this occurs, you can just cut out the normal growth...
It's about 3 years from cutting to fruiting plant and each year the flowering and fruiting gets better. (assuming that each year is a normal healthy growing year)
