(plus the software was a dinosaur compared to today)

I forget how many layers it was but...

no need for 3rd party software anymore like Helicon if you have photoshop cs6 or newer
I use the OEM canon software to control the focal points, then use CS6 to align and combine the layers

DI units will break the bank unless you have a certified 99% rejection ratio membrane running at the proper pressures and start off with decent water
