I'm in a similar situation, three hours south of ya. With the price of gas... I'd like a sneak peek of what would be available before I make arrangements to hike up there. Is that possible?

If you still need a Ventrata, I have an extra one I'd be willing to give up to a good home http://www.terraforums.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
My bet is that the humidity wasn't quite right in its growing environment to stimulate active pitcher production. And ventratas do indeed have uppers, although they do not differ too dramatically...
I'm a bushy nep fan as well, potted up multiple ventratas in an oversized pot myself, trying to get a jungle going in there :P
Glad to hear that thing's still kickin for ya, must be doing...
Unknown #3 sounds good to me. Let me kno where to send postage if I make it?
lol what a funny picture! That would have given him one monster headache!
Nope, haven't been checking them, but they were all from the same scape, so some 5 petaled and at least one (who knows maybe I missed some more?) 9 petalers!
Tbh I didn't notice it was there till after the picture was taken lol. http://www.terraforums.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/new/smile_n_32.gif
Is that caresheet gonna be spread around to other Home Depots or only the one you work at? Either way, pretty cool!
I had a pot of spatulata bloom and I forgot to take off the scapes, which turned out to be rather a fortunate event as I had some fun trying to get a half decent pic of them with my crappy camera....
I always enjoy looking at y'alls pictures here, just to see how other people's plants are doing. *These are two of my favorites right now, looking good so i snapped a pic this morning... before it...
I'd love to pick up one or two of those lowland neps (bical!) to grow outside here in South Florida. Don't mind taking more, just seems kinda greedy in a way to say HEY I'll take all the lowlanders!...
Wowsers, don't even recognize it tbh! You've done a great job Jimscott, good to see you still hanging around here. Uh best guess on my part is a Judith Finn? I dunno for sure tho, haven't had one for...
I grow my plants outside in full sun (with a bit of shade cloth to cut down the intensity) here in South Florida. *Although it makes it a bit tougher to keep up on the watering, the color on these...
Thank ya so much Bugweed and BCK http://www.terraforums.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
It was a great birthday, never had so many people call, IM, send notes, emails, snail mails,...
Hey it takes guts to admit anything publically, its a good thing that you at least realize what you need to do! We're here if you need to talk anything out, I've had many many friends who were...
Hmmm, in my limited experience I'd have to say the temperates suffer more shock. Why?
Well when I get plants in the mail, I typically cover them with a ziploc baggy for a few days (up to a week...

Mhmmm that first picture is... mesmerizing!
That Byblis looks pretty swampy. I'm totally ignorant of that species, do they enjoy extremely wet conditions?
and that D. burmanni or w/e it is in...
I grew (past tense) my Judith Finn in lowland conditions, South Florida, outside. It was one of my fastest growing plants, eating like a pig and the heat/humidity did not seem to bother it in the...
I can see them, and some decent looking plants ya have there!
Might I offer a bit of camera advice? It seems as though most of the pictures are focused on the carpet behind the object, especially...
Woah.. You remember that? Hahahah, even I'd forgotten til you mentioned it! If I can remember come spring, I'll PM ya....
Copper, I luv you :P
I'm thinking of setting up a terrarium so I can...
I'm sure very few of you remember me if at all, but I figured I'd post and let y'all know I'm backkkk! As you all know, once you start growing CPs, you can't ever quit. Its something that gets in...
Yes, the idea of the game is just to find what you cut and pasted last. If you don't have anything.... come back tomorrow http://www.petflytrap.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/new/smile.gif
