    Argyroderma leaf renewal

Hey, my argyroderma is renewing its leaves right now. I know that that typical culture is to leave them bone dry until the old leaves are completely absorbed. However, right now the new bodies are showing some wrinkling. I have heard that light misting can be good. Any tips here? In the past I...

    Ping won't produce carnivorous leaves

My laueana has been producing succulent leaves for about a year now. It suffered extreme damage due to a root mealie infestation, which may be the root of the problem. Anyway, mealies are gone, and it has good roots, but it still won't enter summer growth. I'm giving my plants an early spring...

    Huernia kennediana

I'm concerned about this coloration. It was jut around the stem tip when I got it 8 months ago. Not totally sure when it spread honestly. The light pink color is what I am referring to. Does anyone know what's happening?

    Dealing with mealybug

Hey TF! Got my first real pest problem here. I have a mealybug infestation. I've seen one or two here and there for a while, and removed adults I saw and treated the plants they were on with imidicloprid. However, for one reason or another, the population in my growspace has boomed, and my...

Watering with turface as a medium/ chronic overwatering recovery help

i have switched my Mexican pinguicula to 100 percent turface several months ago, and I have had issues knowing when to water. This is partially because I thought turface had extremely weak capillary action, but that does not appear to be true. So the advice I am seeking: 1. What are some of you...

    Lithops questions

This is my second season growing this lithops. I always have a little trouble coaxing it to absorb it's old leaves. I believe it is L. aucampie. I have tried withholding water, but this seems only to stall the plant. Water causes growth, but also feeds the old leaves to some degree. Any tips?

The corolla has fallen off, and the ovary is very visibly swollen. How long does it usually take for seed to ripen? What are common practices...
