Whew! There was a fast bidding in there!
The auction is over...legal bids are 10 p.m. or prior (as stated in the rules).
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who both listed and bid. Even if you didn't win anything, you still "contributed" to the future of Sarracenia ...and I hope had some fun...
Yeah, it got scary. It was running slow. Whew!!
Yes, we've learned a lot over the years. :) We set the ending time going by times shown on posts 10 p.m. and prior since the forums are manually opened and closed.
I hope you are the only one who thinks its midnite! :)
It used to be midnite several years ago...until we realized that was stupid. lol 10 p.m. makes it easier to people to bid and not have to stay up so late.
Tick tick tick...
Time is ticking down to make your final bids. :) Auction ends at 10 p.m./when Andrew closes the forum to posts.
I hope you all got to bid on something you like.
The donations have been just awesome! :D
I just wanted to thank everyone who has supported the NASC auction this year. I've been having other issues to deal with and haven't really been around like I want to be.
I'm always touched by how generous the CP community is. It is always such a strong, caring group of people...
Better late than never!!
Up for bid is the Southern delicacy...Smithfield country ham! :boogie:
Country ham is not like that bland boiled stuff people make sandwiches out of. This is robust, flavorful and...salty (since it is salt cured). Like olives? Capers? Caviar? Then salty...
Ozzy, thank you for posting that. I have been a slacker!
I hope that you all will support our Auction this year despite the lack of promotion. That has been my fault. I haven't been able to get here.
This auction is our only fundraiser and it helps us to function.
And as always, we are...
