Jcal I got that same silica sand in two sizes, co**** and medium. I use medium in my mix with peat and co**** for dressing. Agri supply on east coast carries it. Don't thin there is one in your state but VA, GA, NC and SC has agri location. Usually have to only wash it a little bit with 2ppm...

I'm happy with it. Put a few p. Lutea with them so I might have to move them later when the dews get larger.

The drosera capillaris started sprouting, got maybe 3-4 seedlings with a good amount of growth on them. U. Pubescens is growing real nice with the moss. Can post a photo if you want.
