I keep my U. Nelumbifolia very very wet and it has grown like this for years. It's in an east facing window sill and is in flower right now. Temps can go as low as 40f with no problems.
Your dentate could still be a dentate. Mine always have regular traps early in the season then grows the dentate traps later in the season. I hope this is the case with yours. Jack

The potential thief should be arrested but killing him? Lets not forget he was a father, should they lose their dad because he tried to still a plant? Killing a person who enters a house illegally I'm all for, but not for stilling property outside the home.
